AI visibility for local businesses in Spain

When someone in your town asks ChatGPT, Perplexity or Gemini «which florist do you recommend?», the assistant answers with names. Yours may be one of them. It may not. And until now there was no way to know without asking a hundred times and writing it down. Nombradía measures it: who the assistants name in your sector and your area, where they get that from and how it changes every month.

Nombradía measures businesses in Spain using the questions their customers ask in Spanish. The dashboard and reports are in Spanish for now; an English version is on the way. This page is the English translation of «Posicionamiento en IA para negocios locales».

A florist, 150 euros a month and not a single sale

In August 2026 a florist from a town near Valencia wrote to us. They pay 150 euros a month to a Google Ads agency and cannot attribute a single sale a month to it. They have no website of their own: just Instagram and Facebook. What they wanted to know was simple: whether their name comes up when someone asks an AI for a florist in their town, and who comes up instead.

That question has a measurable answer, and the answer is useful for two things: knowing where you stand, and knowing whether what you pay for is working. Nombradía measures whether your agency delivers: it does not replace it, it audits it, with data the agency cannot give you about itself.

How AI assistants choose a local business

What has been measured so far, with its source, says three things.

What none of those figures tells you is what happens in your sector in your town. That is what we measure.

What Nombradía measures for your business

  1. Who the assistants name when someone asks about your sector in your town, your province or the whole of Spain, repeating each question several times because an assistant never answers the same way twice in a row. With names, in order of mention.
  2. Which sources they cite to decide (which directory, which newspaper, which profile), which of them you appear in, and which the businesses they do name appear in.
  3. What you are missing and how hard it is: for each niche and area, how difficult it is to appear, which rival your size you need to match and an indicative time frame, with the rules published in the methodology. And the task list, each task with its proof.
  4. What the AI gets wrong about you: if an assistant gives wrong details about your business (area, services, opening hours), we alert you with its answer in front of you.
  5. How all of that changes every month. Models are updated, sources change and your competitors move: the series is what turns a snapshot into data.

How to read a report (illustrative example; the figures are made up): «The AI assistants that recommend florists in your town cite Google Maps (14 times), Tripadvisor (6), an article in a local newspaper (4) and a florists' directory (3). You appear on Google Maps with 12 reviews; the three florists they name have 140, 96 and 71, and two of them appear in all four sources.» That is not an opinion: it is a map, and you can take it to your agency.

What is free and what is paid

What we do not do, and why

We never charge to alter or hide a measurement: what we publish comes from real questions and can be verified, whether you are a customer or not. What we do is help you improve your reality: an improvement plan, ready-made files and, if you ask and we have availability, we apply the changes for you (separately, with a quote). Nor do we promise that an AI will name you: nobody can pay to appear in ChatGPT, and at Nombradía money does not buy position. What we do promise is honest data, measured the same way for everyone, every month, with every assistant's full answer archived so you can check it.

Third-party figures on this page carry their source and date; they describe specific markets and samples and are not Nombradía data.
